7 - TPP Chart of Accounts

Quick Overview:

For a number of Accounting Software’s you can automatically import your General Ledger Codes:

• Xero
• Quickbooks
• Freshbooks
• Zoho Bookes
• Microsoft Business Central
• Oracle Netsuite
• Saasu

For other Accounting products you will need to manually enter and assign.

Steps:

For the accounting softwares listed above that support importing of general ledger codes you will need to first ensure your integration is connected:

1. Under Payroll Settings click Integrations
   
   
   
2. Find your existing payroll solution and click the green Add Button
   
   
   
3. Follow the respective Wizard to complete the integration.

Following the connection you will need to complete the Chart of Accounts:

1. From the payroll settings menu, click Chart of Accounts
   
   
   
2. Click Import Accounts
   
   
   
3. On the next screen select all the General Ledger Codes that you will use in TurnPoint Pay And click save at the bottom of the list.
   
   
   
4. On the next loaded screen (back to chart of Accounts) you will need to fill out at least the default accounts listed as well as any others as needed.
   
   
   
5. Once you are happy with your selections you can press save.

Note: For Manual Import of Chart of Accounts contact TurnPoint

You will have completed this step if you have:

1. Connected your Accounting Software of Choice
2. Imported all Relevant Accounting Codes
3. Attached at least the Default Primary Accounts to the General Ledger Accounting Codes
