Quick Overview:
For a number of Accounting Software’s you can automatically import your General Ledger Codes:
- Xero
- Quickbooks
- Freshbooks
- Zoho Bookes
- Microsoft Business Central
- Oracle Netsuite
- Saasu
For other Accounting products you will need to manually enter and assign.
Steps:
For the accounting softwares listed above that support importing of general ledger codes you will need to first ensure your integration is connected:
- Under Payroll Settings click Integrations
- Find your existing payroll solution and click the green Add Button
- Follow the respective Wizard to complete the integration.
Following the connection you will need to complete the Chart of Accounts:
- From the payroll settings menu, click Chart of Accounts
- Click Import Accounts
- On the next screen select all the General Ledger Codes that you will use in TurnPoint Pay And click save at the bottom of the list.
- On the next loaded screen (back to chart of Accounts) you will need to fill out at least the default accounts listed as well as any others as needed.
- Once you are happy with your selections you can press save.

You will have completed this step if you have:
- Connected your Accounting Software of Choice
- Imported all Relevant Accounting Codes
- Attached at least the Default Primary Accounts to the General Ledger Accounting Codes
