Overview
The Bulk SAH Budget Assignment Wizard allows providers to link multiple TurnPoint (TP) budgets to their corresponding SAH budgets in a single operation. This is particularly useful after importing SAH budgets from the Aged Care Provider Portal (ACPP), when a large number of TP budgets need to be connected to their matching government SAH budget records.
The wizard is accessed from the Budgets toolbar and guides you through three steps: selecting the budgets to assign, reviewing the automatically suggested matches, and confirming the assignments.
Accessing the Wizard
- Navigate to Support at Home > Budgets.
- Select one or more budgets from the table using the row checkboxes, or use the filter bar to narrow results before selecting.
- Click the Assign SAH Budgets button in the toolbar. This button is disabled when no rows are selected.
You must have budget update permission to access this feature.
Step 1 — Filter and Select Budgets
Step 1 presents a paginated, server-side filtered table of TP budgets. Use the filter bar to narrow down the list before making your selection.
Available filters
- Client Name – Search by client name.
- Status – Filter by budget status (e.g. Active, Draft).
- SAH Link – Filter by whether a SAH budget is already linked: All / Unlinked only / Already linked.
Selecting budgets
Use the row checkboxes to select individual budgets. A running count of selected budgets appears in the summary bar.
- Select all on this page – Selects all rows visible on the current page.
- Select all matching filter – Selects all budgets matching your current filter criteria, across all pages. A confirmation prompt is shown before this is applied, displaying the total count.
When you are ready, click Find Matches to proceed. TurnPoint will run the matching logic against the selected budgets and advance to Step 2.
Step 2 — Review Matches
Step 2 displays the matching results for every selected budget. Each row shows the TP budget alongside a suggested SAH budget match. Matches are determined by funding type, client, and whether the SAH budget's date range covers the TP budget's date range.
Match states
Each budget row will be in one of three states:
- Auto (green) — A single matching SAH budget was found. The row is pre-selected and the dropdown is pre-filled. You can still adjust the selection if needed.
- Choose (amber) — Multiple matching SAH budgets were found. The dropdown is empty and highlighted. You must select a SAH budget before this row can be included in the assignment. The checkbox is disabled until a selection is made.
- No match (red) — No eligible SAH budget was found for this TP budget. The checkbox is disabled. This row will be skipped and no assignment will be made.
Filtering the review table
Use the tab strip above the table to filter by match state:
- All – Shows all budgets.
- Auto-matched – Shows only budgets with a single confirmed match.
- Choose required – Shows only budgets where you need to select a match from the dropdown.
- No match – Shows only budgets with no eligible SAH budget found.
The summary bar shows a running count: X auto-matched, X needs selection, X no match, X will be assigned.
Already-linked budgets are shown with their current SAH budget pre-filled and can be re-assigned to a different SAH budget if needed.
Once you have reviewed matches and made any required selections, click Review & Confirm to proceed
After the Wizard
Once assignments are complete, the linked SAH budget will be visible in each TP budget's detail view under the Edit Budget Details panel. The Total Amount field for each budget will reflect the value from the linked government SAH budget record.
