The Weekly Planner offers a variety of settings that allow you to tailor the interface to your rostering needs. This article walks through the key display options, alerts, and interactive features that help you get the most out of your scheduling experience.
Accessing Settings
To access the settings of the weekly planner simply head over to the cog icon in the top left corner:
Planner

Flexibility:
Show or hide the Appointments Flexibility (Green = Flexible, Red = Not Flexible). For more information view adding appointments here

Breaks:
Show or hide meal breaks and Shift Breaks (this is only visible on the day view)

Tea Breaks:
Show or hide estimated Tea Break Times (this is only visible on the day view) -
Travel:
Show or hide travel time between appointments (this is only visible on the day view)

Appointment Qualifications:
Show or hide required qualifications on the appointment card:

Cancellations:
Show or hide cancelled appointments based off the following seclections:- Payable Cancellations - show cancellations that have been marked as cancelled but still payable
- All Cancellations - show all cancellations
- None - show no cancelled appointments

Service Types:
Show or hide Service Type Names on Appointment Cards in the Weekly Planner
Work Options

Qualifications:
Show or hide worker qualifications on their card - hover over for more details

Worker Availability:
Show or hide worker availability on the week view - for split availability days click to show details. The day view shows availability visually all the time
Alerts

Award Alerts:
Highlight when workers don’t meet their Minimum hours per week or go over their maximum hours per week. These settings can be found on the User Admin page here
Totals Display
Each of these settings will show totals for each day and week

Simple:
End of Day time minus Start of Day time -
Appointments:
Sum of all Appointment times -
Predicted Shift:
Estimated hours including any travel, meal breaks, shift breaks -
Distance:
Show or hide the distance
Service Type Colors
This option is only available to users with Unlock permissions and will be seen company wide
- Click Edit Service Colours.
- In the top right select a service type from the drop down
- Assign a colour from the colour pallete or one of the previously used colours in the picker
- Click add
- Repeat for each service type
Rebuild Planner
Sometimes you will recieve the following prompt - dont worry, this is just a warning that you have changed something that requires the planner to recalculate the values it previously calculated.
i.e. You have just Turned Off Tea Breaks - the Weekly Planner has already calculcated these so needs a quick refresh to work out the planner without tea breaks. TO do this simply hit "Rebuild".
You wont loose any unsaved changes
