The Weekly Planner V2 has been designed with individual customisation in mind. We know that out of all the businesses who use TurnPoint, no two are the same and that within each business everyone has a different use case for using the Weekly Planner.
One of the key enhancements in Version 2 is customizable views. It includes two distinct settings (View and Range); each offering two options, providing four possible view combinations:
View Options
There are two different view options available that affect the way the roster is laid out: Users & Clients
- Users:
This is the default view of the roster and shows your workers running down as rows. Each of the appointment blocks will show the client that is rostered to an appointment. This view is designed to be the main one used and as such has most of the functionality including, drag and drop, distance and award calculations to name a few:
- Clients:
This view switched the perspective of the roster and now looks per client running down as rows. Each of the appointment blocks will show the worker that has been rostered into an appointment. This view has less functionality and is built for visually showing appointments:
Range
TurnPoint offers two different ranges of viewing the roster: Weekly & Daily
- Weekly View
The weekly view is the default range of the Weekly Planner and shows all of the appointments that have been rostered in a single week. You can click and drag appointments on this week view and it will keep the same time but can be used to move appointment days and/or workers quickly
- Day View
The Day view is the most heavily utilised range for day to day rostering. This view provides the most detailed contextual information. In this view you can see travel time, breaks, clashes and more. as well as the ability to click and drag appointments to different times or workers
