Understanding conflicts and how they can be displayed and fixed are vital to a smooth running roster. In this article we will run through what conflict warnings are available, how they are displayed and how we can quickly navigate to them
List View
All Conflicts within the Weekly Planner can be accessed in a list view using the Functions Menu of the Weekly Planner. To access simply click on the conflicts area to expand (as you expand TurnPoint will calculate the number of conflicts that exist):
To change which conflicts you want to view/hide click the cog icon and toggle each item:
Highlighting a Single Conflict in Focus View
TurnPoint has introduced "Focus View" within Weekly Planner V2. Focus View pins the relevant items to the top of the roster in your current range (Daily or Weekly View). To Focus in on a conflict simply click the eye icon on the conflict you wish to view:
Whilst in Focus View, the focused worker will stay pinned to the top of the page as you scroll
Conflict Types
In the Weekly Planner V2 we keep track of 3 conflicts which we will go through below. These are updated in real time so as you make modifications so you can keep track of conflicts as you build/change your roster.
- Time Clash
These clashes occur when 2 or more appointments overlap with each other
- Travel Clash
These clashes occur when travel time overlaps with another appointments time
- Preference Clash
These clashes occur when appointment is booked between a worker and client that have been marked as "Not Preferred"
