What is the notes search tool?
The notes search function within TurnPoint allows you to identify specific client notes or content within these notes, via customisable parameters. For example, we can filter by; care workers associated with a note, if a case manager has been assigned to a note, custom date range, note type and details, service type and more.
Where can I find the notes search tool?
To get to the notes search function, navigate to the left ‘quick access’ toolbar and click ‘notes search’ under the ‘Company CRM’ panel, as shown above.
How do I use the notes search function?
We can filter through all client notes with the search parameters below (If cannot see the filter options, you just need to press the ‘Search Options’ button):

In this example below, we will filter all notes containing ‘Kim Barton’ as the Case Manager and ‘Care Worker Notes’ as the Note Type:
After clicking the blue ‘SEARCH’ button above, all client notes will be displayed below. Please note: ‘Show Note Details’ must be toggled on to view note content (as seen above).
Can I export this information?
Yes, all note search sessions are exportable into an excel file format, after clicking button, as highlighted in the previous image above.
What are all these filters?
- Client - Search for specific notes on an individual client level.
- Care Worker - Search for specific notes including any individual care worker.
- Case Manager - Filter through all notes containing that are assigned to any case manager.
- Date and Time - Generate notes for a specified date range or time.
- Note Type - Ability to filter by type of note, e.g. ‘Care Worker Notes’
- Note Details - Input a filter of an actual note that has been recorded.
- Status - Note status, either ‘entered’, ‘pending’ or ‘actioned’.
- Alert - An alert can be set up if care workers need to be alerted of notes.
- Admin Time - A place to record time spent on the note (DOES NOT GET INVOICED)
- Travel Time - A place to record time spent travelling (DOES NOT GET INVOICED)
- Service Type - The service type attached to a note, if any, e.g. ‘assistance with Self-Care’
- Package - Filter by care package associated with the note, for example, ‘NDIS - Plan Managed’.
- Deleted - Ability to filter through notes that are current vs deleted.
